The other week the term Blue Monday would have been getting thrown around a lot of workplaces, shops, offices. It tends to refer to the idea of the third Monday of the year being the depression point from an economic standpoint as money is tight before the first payday of the year, as well as an emotional and social standpoint too with the freezing January weather putting everyone down. But here at Hog Roast Coulsdon we are the experts in wiping away in blues, economical or social, as our stylish and delicious dining is guaranteed to put a smile on anyone’s face.
Taking up our invitation of corporate catering to overcome the much-maligned Blue Monday was SSO Logistics Ltd here in Merseyside. The local business offers a range of warehousing and storage solutions for businesses in the UK and Europe. This year Peter and the team are able to celebrate their tenth year in business – an incredible achievement by any measure! As part of celebrating that success, Peter treated his whole staff (around 50 that we served) to a well-earned lunch from the Hog Roast Coulsdon team. If it was a Blue Monday, certainly no one told Peter or any of the staff of the SSO Logistics team – it was smiles all around, especially when tucking into a good hog roast roll served up hot and fresh by our expert chef!
Everyone was happy to come on down to see the Hog Roast Coulsdon tent, all set up nicely with our hog roast on the go. When you’ve had ten years as a business, that is something always worth celebrating. In this case, it was one for the staff, and an excellent one at that as Blue Monday dissipated away and 10 years of success went celebrated with each and every hog roast roll served out (and there were a lot of them!).
