This December, Hog Roast Lancashire was hired to cater for a Christmas Eve party for a family gathering taking place at William’s family home. William was hosting a wonderful party for his three children and 7 grandchildren, as well as several family friends. The event was being hosted as a way to gather before the big day and get into the festive spirit with a delicious meal. For the catering, Hog Roast Lancashire was hired to serve our classic hog roast menu for the occasion, which includes a variety of delicious dishes. The menu was sure to go down a treat at the party, with plenty for all of the guests to enjoy.
On the day of the party, the Hog Roast Lancashire team began by slow-roasting the hog to perfection and allowing it to cook for around five hours. Once ready, the succulent pork was expertly carved by our chef and served alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For the side dishes, we also served roasted baby potatoes, a selection of seasonal vegetables, and rich homemade gravy. We served the menu buffet style, which allowed the guests to create their ideal meal from the dishes we had on offer. Our menu was a big success and it was great to see the family gathered together and enjoying a delicious meal from Hog Roast Lancashire!
