Today we are doing a hog roast in Coleshill at the Maxstoke Park golf club. It is a 25th anniversary for a golfing society and they have travelled down to Coleshill to celebrate. I like a game of golf myself and I have brought my clubs in the hope of a quick 9 holes once we have served lunch. There 20 gentlemen for lunch so we have got them a nice 40 kilo suckling pig which we are spit roasting along with some roast potatoes and some slow roast winter vegetables. A veritable winters feast and a welcome site after a morning on the golf course. We have set up at the front of the club so that they can see the pig roasting as they arrive to tee off. The smell is just fantastic and the crackling is already starting to crisp up. All is looking good and well with the world. A hog roast is the perfect food on these cold crisp winter days. So next time you are wondering what to do to beat away the winter blues just give us a call and order your own hog roast in Coleshill.
