Hog Roasts for Private Parties
A hog roast works well for private parties because it takes a lot of pressure off the host.
You do not need to worry about cooking for everyone, keeping food warm or trying to serve a large number of guests from a kitchen that was never designed for it. We bring the equipment, cook on-site, serve the food and clear everything away afterwards.
It keeps things simple and gives your guests something proper to eat.
Perfect for Birthdays, Anniversaries and Family Celebrations
Private parties come in all shapes and sizes.
Some customers are planning a birthday party in the garden. Others are organising a family celebration, anniversary or gathering where they simply don’t want to spend the day worrying about food.
A hog roast works well because guests can help themselves, service remains straightforward and everyone gets fed without the host being stuck in the kitchen.
A Practical Option for Home Events
Not every private party takes place at a venue.
Many are held at homes, gardens, farms, private land or village halls where kitchen space may be limited. That is where a hog roast can work particularly well.
We will discuss access, parking, setup space and serving times before the day so we know what is needed and how the food will be served.
More Than Just the Hog
The hog is the centre of the service, but it does not have to be the only part of the menu.
Fresh rolls, stuffing, apple sauce and crackling are popular choices, and additional sides or salads can be added depending on the event.
If you have guests with dietary requirements, we can also discuss alternative options when planning the menu.
Some customers keep things simple and focus entirely on the hog roast itself. Others want a more complete menu with sides and additional options to cater for different tastes.
We’ll discuss what’s needed and build the menu around the event.
How The Day Works
Before the event, we will confirm the guest numbers, location, serving time and menu choices.
On the day, we arrive with the equipment, set up the cooking and serving area, prepare the food and serve your guests at the agreed time. Once service is finished, we clear everything away.
Once everything is agreed, we’ll take care of the catering side of things. We arrive, cook, serve and clear down afterwards so you can spend your time with your guests rather than worrying about the food.
